Edmund (“Dick”) Caspar Dickerson

Edmund Caspar “Dick” Dickerson was married to Regina (Gene) Lindgren May 23, 1933. He was born August 20, 1908 in Berlin, Ottawa County, MI. During WWI the town’s name changed to Marne.

Died November 13, 1990 while retired in Florida (age 82).

Education: High School in Marne. According to his daughter Pat Heath, his college major was likely in a business field as that is what he taught in the upper peninsula town of Ironwood, Michigan. It was at this high school where he met his future wife, Gene.

Occupation: Following work as a teacher, Dick went into business and worked with various businesses in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio before retiring at Vice President of Westab, Inc. now a part of Mead Corporation.

Main Interests involved family and fishing at the Dickerson’s summer get-away in Michigan.

Children: Pat and Jim
