John Lindgren was Frank Lindgren’s older brother. John was born in Sweden and emigrated to the United States in 1891. His brother, Frank and two sisters, Selma and Jenny, followed him. Working as a farm hand in central Iowa, he acquired some land. Then he married Lizzie (Elizabeth) Johnson, a sister of Amy Johnson, who married John’s brother Frank.
