Born: November 27, 1907. Cerro Gordo, IA. She was the third child of Harry & Mary Hill. Siblings included: brothers Ray (Shirley), Charles & Wilber, sister Alma Dutcher.
Died: May 30, 1999 (age 91) Internment at Lost Grove Township Cemetery, near Lanyon IA.
Education: Plymouth (Iowa)High School. Upper Iowa University and Iowa State Teachers College (now University of Northern Iowa)
Occupation: Teacher, Home Maker,
Special Interests. Hazel was active in the Covenant church and was president of the Lady’s Aid. She enjoyed painting as a hobby.
Mother of: Richard “Dick”, Theodore “Ted,” Carleton “Carl” and Jon.
