The mildly unusual relationships surrounding the marriages of John and Frank (Petersson) Lindgren and Lizzie and Amy Johnson included an array of cousins and second cousins, as well as double second cousins. We will use this page to document and explain some of those and other connections that may reach a bit farther from the immediate progeny of Frank and Amy Lindgren.
The Johnson Family
John Peter (JP) Johnson married Johanna Dorothea Burman. Their six children; Ester, Lizzie, Frank I., Amy, Obed and Nellie all married and five of the six also had children.
One of Amy’s brothers, Obed Simon Johnson, was a missionary in China between 1909 and 1923. Details of his life are being located and recorded on a separate page. While in China, Obed met and married Vida Maud Lowrey, also a missionary and Iowa native.
